Split-Pin-Puppet Fun
This children's workshop was a blast. 😊
The kids coloured in their chosen puppet before cutting them out and inserting the pins, turning card into amazing moving puppets. We also made a different puppet and coloured a giant poster.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and got along well so we're more than happy to host another for anyone interested.
It will be on the 2nd of March 10am-11:30am.

£10 per child which includes juice, biscuits and tea/coffee for the parents.
(You only need a ticket for your child, no need to buy yourself one)
Wood Turning
We're happy to report that our woodturning taster courses have been a success. The many men and women that came learned so much and enjoyed their time on the lathes.
It's fascinating hearing just how much knowledge Glyn (our turner) has picked up over the many years and the stories he had to tell.
For those that have missed out don't worry, we will be planning more taster courses soon.
One-on-One Sessions
If you want to go beyond the taster and prefer to have a thorough go woodturning you can book some time at our turners personal workshop where he houses his massive jet lathes and tools.
Prices are just £15 per hour or £25 per hour if you want to go as a couple.
(3 hours are recommended but you can book fewer)

Elland's 95th Carnival!
Don't miss the upcoming Elland Carnival!
The Elland Carnival is now in its 95th year! Over the last 5 years the community of Elland has come together to make the event a tremendous success. Last year there were over 5000 people here enjoying the great sunny day. We also saw the return of Tug of War! The highlight of the day. Along with the procession through the centre of Elland. In 2023 they are also bringing back the Welly Throwing Competition!
Of course we'll be there with our own fun little things, It should be quite an amazing event and we're really looking forward to it. 😊

Overgate Garden Party Success!
Our small stall at the Overgate garden party went amazing today!
We were able to raise over £300 for the charity 'Overgate Hospice' with our 3 games 'Digging for treasure', 'Hook a duck' and 'Lucky dip'.
We all had so much fun and the weather was amazing, it makes us excited for the next one.
We want to give a massive thank you to Annabel from Macramckay, and Glynn & Susan from TheHappyTurner. We truly appreciated the help and it was so good having you there with us.

Kings Coronation Event!
It's day 2 of our coronation event, we have on theme cupcakes, balloon popping, discounts on so many products and 2 friendly people to talk to within!
Our first day went really well and we thank everyone that came to participate, as well as all our creators that have provided prizes and discounts towards this event.

Kings Coronation Event + Overgate Garden Party
2 Big events will be happening for us in May.
First we have the kings coronation where we will be doing some very nice discounts within our store, accompanied by games, balloons and many prizes to be won so be sure to come on down the 6th of May!
We will also be attending the Overgate garden party on the 14th of May, full of charity raising stalls, give aways, carnival games and live entertainment it will be a ton of fun for all the family
